💳 Payments & Booking

Cover Packages

  • 20% booking fee required after initial consultation to secure your project slot
  • 20% due after concept approval / revision stage
  • Remaining 40% due before final files are delivered
  • Work continues only once payments are received

Gold & Platinum Packages

  • Full payment required before work begins

Diamond Package

  • 50% booking fee to secure slot
  • Remaining 50% due before final files are delivered

🔒 Refund Policy

Due to the custom nature of design work:

  • Booking fees are non-refundable
  • No refunds are available once design work has begun
  • No refunds are issued after final files are delivered

💭 Change of Mind Policy

Once final designs are approved and files delivered:

  • Changes or redesign requests are not included
  • Additional changes will be quoted as new work

✏️ Revision Rounds

Cover packages include two revision rounds.
Additional revisions will incur extra fees.
Approx. $50–100 per revision, depending on the change requested.

⏱️ Timeline Expectations

Typical turnaround:

  • Be The Judge: 3–4 weeks
  • Take A Peek: 4–6 weeks

Timeline begins once all materials and booking payment are received.
Delays in feedback or materials may extend delivery.

📋 Client Responsibilities

Clients must provide:

  • Final title & author name
  • Blurb & spine text
  • Print specifications (if required)
  • Reference or genre direction
  • Concept/s and/or inspiration for your design

Delays in providing materials may affect timeline.

©️ Usage Rights

Final designs may be used by the client for book promotion and publication.

Cover It Up! retains the right to display completed work in portfolios and marketing unless otherwise agreed.

✏️ Editing

  • 30% due before work begins to secure your slot
  • 30% due at the halfway point of the editing process
  • Remaining 40% due before the edited manuscript is returned to you
  • Payment structure is flexible depending on your situation — just chat with your editor!
  • Work continues only once payments are received

  • No refunds are available once the first payment has been made

Each editing package includes a single editing pass. This ensures focused, thorough attention to your manuscript from start to finish.
